Privacy statement

Who we are

This website is run by Truxion Media, Heerhugowaard, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce no. 42212602). Truxion Media is the controller for the personal data described on this page. For anything about your data, email info@truxion.nl.

This statement covers truxion.nl only. The projects we show, such as Haulora or VillageWar, have their own privacy statements.

When you visit the website

When you open a page, your browser sends your IP address and technical details, such as the page requested and the type of browser, to our server. These are needed to deliver the page and the website does not store them. We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising or social media buttons. Fonts and images come from our own server, so no other party sees your visit.

The contact form

When you use the contact form, we process:

• your name, email address, subject (optional) and message;
• the date and time, the language of the page and your IP address.

We use this to read and answer your message. The message is saved on our server and emailed to info@truxion.nl, so it is not lost if the email does not arrive. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you write.

To keep out spam, the form uses a simple picture check without third-party scripts or cookies, and we count attempts per IP address. Those counters live only in the server's memory and are gone after two hours at most.

Legal basis (GDPR)

We answer your message because you ask us to. If it is about a possible project, the basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Otherwise it is our legitimate interest in answering the questions we receive (Article 6(1)(f)). Protecting the form against spam and abuse, including the use of your IP address, is based on our legitimate interest in a secure website (Article 6(1)(f)).

How long we keep data

We keep contact messages for as long as needed to handle your question and any follow-up, and delete them automatically three months after you sent them. If your message leads to an assignment, we keep what we are legally required to keep for our records (in the Netherlands usually seven years).

Who receives your data

We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers. Your message only reaches others where that is needed to deliver it: the email service that delivers mail for info@truxion.nl and the server the website runs on. We do not make automated decisions about you and do not build profiles.

Cookies

truxion.nl does not set cookies. The cookie notice only remembers in your browser that you closed it. Read more in our cookie policy.

Security

The website only works over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Messages are stored on our server and only Truxion Media has access to them.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. Email info@truxion.nl to use these rights. We reply within one month.

If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

We may update this statement. The date at the top shows which version you are reading.
